Heirship, per stirpes
Mark an owner deceased with the probate cause number and Corva splits their interest down the family tree — generation after generation — and shows each heir's exact fraction and dollar amount.
Chain of title · Division orders · Royalty disbursement
Corva is the system of record for landmen and division order analysts. Run a tract from the original patent to today's check run — every deed, probate, heirship affidavit and override in one auditable ledger, with royalty decimals computed to the penny.

01 — Chain of title
Every instrument is entered once with its volume and page, the interest it moved, and the owners on either side of it. Corva walks the chain forward and tells you what the mineral estate looks like right now — including the severances, the probates, and the 1979 lease nobody ever released.

02 — Division of interest
Mark an owner deceased with the probate cause number and Corva splits their interest down the family tree — generation after generation — and shows each heir's exact fraction and dollar amount.
ORRIs, retained overrides on assignment, NPRIs and proportionate reduction are carried as first-class burdens against the working interest, never mixed into the lessor royalty.
Pooling designations and allocation wells reduce every decimal by the tract's acreage contribution to the unit — computed, never typed in by hand.
Defects raised anywhere in the chain follow the interest forward, hold the money in suspense, and tell the analyst precisely which instrument will release it.
Interests are stored as fractions and computed with BigInt rationals. 1/3 stays 1/3 — decimals are only rendered at the last possible moment, to eight places.
Produce a signature-ready division order, a runsheet, and a check detail that reconciles to the operator's revenue statement to the cent.
03 — Payout run
Corva prices the unit, applies the royalty, splits it across every owner decimal with a largest-remainder allocation, then withholds severance tax and permitted post-production deductions per the lease language. Pennies always re-sum to the total.
